1. General
Welcome to KUI ceramics. All products are handmade ceramic items, created in limited editions. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. The shop is operated as a hobby business (hobbyverksamhet) under Swedish tax regulations.
2. Orders and Payment
- Orders are placed via our webshop at www.kuiceramics.com.
- We accept payment via credit/debit card.
- Your order is confirmed once you receive an order confirmation by email.
3. Prices
- All prices are in SEK and do not include VAT (moms) as for a hobby business.
- Prices are valid at the time of order.
- Any shipping costs are added at checkout and displayed before payment.
4. Shipping and Delivery
- Orders are shipped within 3–7 business days after payment has been received.
- We use PostNord for shipping, and all products are carefully packed to minimize the risk of damage during transport.
- We currently ship within the European Union (EU).
- Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of your order. Prices below apply to packages up to 3 kg:
- Sweden: 69–160 SEK
- Other EU countries: 218–480 SEK
- For heavier orders, additional shipping costs may apply. Exact shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.
- Estimated delivery times once the package is shipped:
- Sweden: 1–2 business days
- Other EU countries: 4–6 business days
- You will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped.

5. Packaging & Sustainability
All items are carefully packed to minimize the risk of damage during shipping. Whenever possible, we upcycle packaging materials, such as bubble wrap, cardboard, and paper, to reduce waste and environmental impact.
6. Returns and Right of Withdrawal
Under EU distance selling regulations, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the item. You then have a further 14 days to return the product. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping when exercising your right of withdrawal. The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging.
We reserve the right to deduct an amount from the refund if the item shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to inspect its nature and characteristics, such as damage, wear, or missing packaging.
Exceptions:
The right of withdrawal does not apply to items that have been custom-made or personalized to your specifications.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or if you receive the wrong product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photos of the issue.
All claims will be reviewed to assess the reported damage or defect. We may request additional information or documentation if needed to process your request.
In such cases, once the issue has been confirmed, we will offer a replacement or a full refund, including the original shipping cost and return shipping costs.
Please note: due to the fragile nature of our products, items must be returned in their original packaging and carefully packed to avoid damage during transport. We reserve the right to deduct from the refund if the item is damaged during return shipping.
7. Handmade Products
- Each item is handmade and unique. Small variations in color, shape, size, or texture are a natural part of ceramic craftsmanship.
- We make every effort to display the colors and images of our products as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor or device will display colors exactly as they appear in real life.
- These variations are part of the character of handmade objects and do not constitute a defect. Slight irregularities inherent to handmade production are not considered defects. They do not affect your right to request a refund or replacement in the case of damaged or faulty items.
8. Liability
- We are responsible for ensuring that your order arrives in good condition. If your item is damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photos of the damage.
- We will work with you to resolve the issue and, where applicable, offer a replacement or refund in accordance with our policy.
- Please retain all original packaging materials until your claim has been processed, as these may be required for shipping insurance purposes.
9. Privacy
You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time. We respect your privacy. Any personal data collected (such as emails for newsletter subscription or order processing) will be handled in accordance with GDPR. We do not share your data with third parties.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, text, and designs, is the property of KUI ceramics. You may not reproduce, copy, sell, or use any part of the site or its content without our written permission.
